Open Source Software For Additional Components Of NEC Systems
Many of the additional components of the NEC system contain open source software (OSS) developed by third parties
without any affiliation with NEC.
For NEC hardware/software products containing open source software, we want you to know that you may have been granted a license to that
software under the terms of either the GNU General Public License ("GPL"), or the GNU Lesser General Public License ("LGPL"), or a similar
type of license. Copies of GNU GPL and LGPL are freely available from
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/licenses.html. The GPL allows you to freely copy, modify and redistribute that software and no other
statement or documentation, including any End User License Agreement, places any additional restrictions on what you may do with that
software. Web links to copies of other applicable open source software licenses are presented below for each product.
Furthermore, the source code for the open source software used in NEC products may be obtained from NEC.
See NEC Contact Information below. Alternatively the source code may be obtained online, directly from its publisher.
