NEC Identity as a Service (IDaaS) is a hosted identification service model that enables public safety agencies to use cutting-edge technologies to meet their identity and forensic department requirements with a suite of Integra-ID solutions.

NEC’s IDaaS offers

  • An extensible unimodal or multimodal platform comprised of NEC’s Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS), Multimodal Biometric Identification System (MBIS) and Facial Recognition System (FRS) solution offerings.
  • Highly available and responsive Integra-ID 5 service-orient architecture hosted on a private cloud platform and by one of two NEC Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS)-compliant data centers.
  • Embedded standards-based interoperability with FBI's NGI system and other partner biometric identity solutions.
  • An Application Programming Interface (API) scalable to third-party systems or custom developed applications.
